When every young child learns at a different pace, how can schools create a safe and supportive environment for them to learn? The Jockey Club Spark & Spot Project supports schools in promoting inclusive education through four core areas of support.
In this episode, we visit St. Mark's Church Bradbury Kindergarten to document Principal Leung and her team’s exploration and breakthroughs on their journey toward inclusive education. From boldly clearing out traditional classrooms, introducing open floor spaces, and setting up “Heart-to-Heart Corners” and a multi-age hall, to the concerns and struggles faced by the frontline team—the result was not only a significant improvement in childrens learning, but also a transformation in the teachers’ mindsets.
